Yes of course, you should create day ranges, for example: 1,2,3,4,5,6 as independent day ranges with a price each one, then 7 days as a week with other price and finally 30 days as a month, with it’s special price. These ranges are full customizable day ranges.

Can I choose to display 2 store web fronts-ends: one for rental and one for sale?

Yes, it’s possible, but you should enable 2 categories one for rental and other for sale products, and address each categories on your main menu properly.
